Student Views

I started my research studies in 2004, having attained my first degree in molecular biology at the University of Dundee. I was attracted to Cardiff because of its high research profile and the working environment offered to pursue my PhD study. The School provides extensive research facilities, with ultra modern equipment, and I have been able to learn and develop a wide range of contemporary techniques. There are a large number of students undertaking research degrees at the School of Dentistry, which ensures a supportive, interactive environment in which to discuss my work and develop ideas and understanding.
